Australia is a bit far to sue. I guess I could write a cease and desist letter to CafePress to let them know those are copyrighted pictures.

Or just let it die on the vine, doubt there will be thousands of these sold.

Nonsense. Sue the crap out of 'em. I'm sure some int'l attorney would take it on commission.

Or, buy the pink onesie and have your picture taken with your hat, your rifle...and another deceased jumbo and send it back to them.

No. Shoot more elephants, sell more shirts, and get a cut. Let the antis know you will keep killing elephants as it is now profitable.

The only thing wrong with the photo is the rifle only has one barrel. LOL

Just shoot more animals and send the bastards pictures. While doing that get a lawyer and demand a percentage of their profits.

That way you can fund more hunts.

Sue him to get royalties to fund another elephant hunt! Lazy bastard should shoot his own elephant to get a pic for his anti-hunting t-shirts.

Start an Internet campaign. Ask for $20,000 or you will do it again. If you raise $20,000 give it to help stop poaching that is the real issue.

A quick Google search on 'no win no fee lawyer Australia' will show you umpteen Aussie lawyers willing to work on that basis and image theft is illegal there just as it is pretty much everywhere else in the world.

Gotta be worth an email at the very least.

A few thoughts:

No sense in wasting your money suing him when it gets you nothing. I agree with you that this is a tiny blip on the radar. No offense, but it's not a very attractive shirt anyway.

How did you find the shirt in the first place?

You realize Aaron is jealous that it isn't him in the picture right? Cool

Tanks,

I agree with Wendell. Don't waste you money or effort. Just let it go. I received 30 FB comments on my ads yesterday calling me every name in the book. I dumped them and went on with my day.

To me, it's not about getting money from the thieving bastard, it's about stopping him making money out of someone else's images to say nothing on the anti hunting aspects of it.

Theft is theft and by doing nothing about it, you're encouraging the thieves to steal again.

I would send them an invoice if I were you.
Having worked in the photography world. I would charge the full production cost including all trophy fees and day rates plus a day rate of about $2000 per day for the shoot.

You can then also in your personal capacity charge them Royalties per image they have printed

Beyond that I would find some low life scum sack lawyer. The kind that lives below the lower than shark shit kind and set him or her on them for 50% of what they milk out of them.

The use of any image without permission of the subject and owner of the image is illegal.

We seem to be constantly battling to stop image and info theft and it drives me nucking futs and irritates the hell out me........ just 2 or 3 months ago, found a South African outfitter had stolen a massive amount of images and info and copied it straight onto his own site.

We told him to remove ALL of it and then complained to Google as well and then had to to the trouble of convincing Google that he had stolen OUR information etc rather than the other way around.

To have an anti hunter doing it is even bloody worse. Mad

I'll take two XXL. I like the burgundy/wine red color and put yours on the front on them and his message but with "Support Trophy Hunting" instead on the back side. It will go great with my Winnie the Pooh shirts from 2012.

I'd bet their legal dept will make you one free of charge to include shipping for each one of his they have sold, and enough $$$ to fund your next Elephant hunting trip.
