Thanks for that great story....fascinating... a 62 foot anaconda is hard to imagine...but what an adventure he had... Are those days gone forever or are there still some untouched and unexplored lands in those South American countries.... "When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." Just google Sucuri, the latin american name for the snake, a 24 foot anaconda weighs ca 350 pounds, one on 62 feet must have weighed 1000 pounds or more. The saying in a mystery book i read many years ago was Col Fawcett was looking for the Golden citys, that so many has sought before him .

Thanks Nick, again, for all your work. It seems the good Colonel was a little optimist measuring anacondas....frankly I don´t believe in eunectes murinus reaching 62 feet. More than 10 meters is quite scarce indeed. Now, these Brazilian people used to stretch the skins. Who knows?.

I like the part about having problems with wild bulls. Would like to see a photo of some of them. Steve "He wins the most, who honour saves. Success is not the test."
