Is it an acceptable practice to paint the entire stock, barrel channel and all inletted surfaces with Dura Cote after all critical fitting is done? I just got a Brown Precision fiberglass stock in for a XP 100 project and they say in the literature not to paint the bedding as it will ruin it. I can't see what it would hurt. Am I missing something? hangunnr ______________________ Proudly living in the USA where even Bill Klinton has more moral fiber than PPPoacher. | ||

a role of blue painters tape is pretty cheap... two things COULD be the cause of this if it's bedded, it is a VERY tight fit, and the paint will change that fit or the solvents in the paint could be the same solvents for the bedding, and could soften the bedding jeffe #dumptrump opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Brownell's sells die in four different colors to color Acraglas. You might try it with your bedding compound if a particular color is desired. "I ask, sir, what is the Militia?
