Thought you guys might be interesed in this special fixture I made up for installing extended tangs. 1" x 3" aluminum; set screws under tang for fine tuning, a spring loaded stop in back of the recoil lug to position the rear guard screw hole prior to removal. A 1/4" in. hole extends verically at the rear screw for spotting/positioning.



This fixture also allows you to mount in the mill for necessary contouring.

Works very nicely!

Well..Had a "cluster" of these to put on...one at a time really sucks...so..finally got around to doing it...

Next: pad the seat of my checkering bench.. been trying to get around to that about 35 years
