SwiftShot411 HAWK
Does anyone know if you can convert a Remington 7600 30-06 into a 411 Hawk. If so any guess as to price. I emailed the guys on thier website and have received no response so I thought you guys might know.
Thanks

N. GarrettYou might want to also consider the 400 Whelen Improved (Randy Selby chambered mine), or the 400 Brown Whelen.
All 3 cartridges give similar ballistics.
You can't go wrong with any of them, unless of course you are planning to use them for varmint hunting.

boom sticki have the same rifle and have thought the same thing... although i love the 30-06...but the 338-06 has been my consideration for this gun. the 411 hawk would be awesome! and yes you could use it as a varnmit gun with barnes x new pistol bullets. i think the 375 hawk is a good option too. glad great minds think alike

DPhillipsNot a 7600, and I have no idea if there would be any issues in converting one, but here's a picture of my 411 Hawk built on an 1895 Winchester. Fred Zeglin built this one and it is a fantastic rifle.
