Well I have not tried all of the ones imported. But the ones I have tried the normal front fits without much hammering. The early ones did have egg shaped holes do to over polishing with a soft wheel. As usual just my $.02 Paul K | |||

With the JC Higgns FN actions anything is possible. They made them with both front and rear at .875 ctc. YES .875. I have two sample actions. I have another one that has .504 on the rear and .860 on the front. The MK X used the .504 x .860 that we consider normal. So double check if in doubt. Jim Wisner Custom Metalsmith | |||
