6.7L diesel 1050 lbs
6.0L 505 lbs
Helps in the driving in the snow if you have 4wd. Kills the traction in the rear if you only have 2wd

In fact, the actual wt. difference runs between 800 and 900 pounds. All that weight is directly over the front wheels and for people who actually use them, it is a well known FACT that typical US diesel trucks will sink in mud with or without 4 wheel drive MUCH easier than the same truck with a gas engine. If I wasn't dealing with an internet dumbass, I could prove it to him any day on my ranch, but he already knows all the answers, unlike us simpletons who use them everyday. I own both kinds of trucks, use them constantly for ranch work. I wonder how many dumbass owns and drives?

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

This isn't my situation as I have always driven Fords, Nissans and Jeeps (I am only 40).

My uncle has a oil field company, and has worked in it his entire life. They buy about 15-20 trucks a year and every year they get rid of whatever trucks are problems.

He has quit buying GMC. He buys 1 ton crew cab 8 foot bed 4x4 fleet trucks. Drives them until they become problem children and sends them down the road.

Sounds like my Great Great Uncle. His fleet is 101 trucks. He wouldn't buy another Fiat Chrysler. These threads are so stupid.
Very few people buy a vehicle and say it is a piece of shit. It would make them look bad.

Well there was that '60 Impala I bought in 1969. Paid $50 for it. Burned more oil than gas.

I have a crew cab Dodge w/Cummins 6.7L, and my son has an almost identical cc Dodge with a 6.4L Hemi and my truck outweighs his by about 1050#. Have never stuck this diesel truck, and the main thing about driving a diesel pickup in mud is you have to use the 4x4 steering axle to keep it out of the ditches especially on crowned roads cause they don't seem to want to follow the road but would rather head for the ditch. It requires a little learning to turn to wheels toward the center and step on the accelerator to keep that diesel heavy weight going straight.
