Sorry Norseman, had a bit of a typo on that one. 92.3 gives me 2890 average on the chrono. Still, I can get a tad over 3000 if I push it. I have shilen, 1-10 twist. It is a single shot set up so I had the throat reamed out so I can get 300 gr bergers out to 4.1in OAL. Again, Sorry for the mix up. Thanks guys; so far my best load is 89.5 H1000 with a 300 grain Berger; just under 2.5 inches at 500 yards for four shots. Likes the bullet off the lands for some reason. Also shoots that Hornady 285 gr bullet well with 90 gr H1000. I need to try Retumbo next.

I cut my load to 89 H1000; still launches the Bergers at 2730. The reduction in wind drift over a 300 RUM with 180s at 3300 is quite noticeable. This gun is a death ray. So far my first six shots at 800 yards have hit within 5 inches in wind holds from 1 to 3 MOA. Those are six different trips, BTW, and shooting sitting with a bipod and sling.
