Whoa! Guys it's Christmas Time, you know "be in good cheer...." Whatever the debate, it's not worth all the ill feelings toward your fellow man. Trust me, when you get more age on you it becomes more important to just discuss a topic with less vigor and angst. It just isn't worth it and overall it is very insignificant to your life left to you. Enjoy whichever caliber you may have and same to others. Merry Christmas!!

No problems here, especially since I found the answer to my question. I think he has me confused with someone else.

Like I said "eddie" your style gave you away, no confusion here at all. Everyone with an I.Q. greater than room temp knows who welched on what bet and who the serial liars are. You and "Miles" are just a couple of "new members" here who are really part of the troll liar gang. Now you're over here trying to wreck this site as you have tried to wreck others. BTW, NO ONE buying a 338 LM from Remington has to sign any special release of liability forms. Probably pulled that out of the same place you keep your head. Just call 800-243-9700 and you can get the truth ..... a product in short supply in Eddie's quiver. You wanna blow up your gun ? I'd say you're well on the way by exceeding maximum loading data. As with all your BS, you have done more than Superman, have all the answers and never seem to have any hard data to back up your crap. Why would anyone register five years ago but only make 10 posts. With your giant ego, hard to believe you resisted telling us all how you have it figured out and we're just dolts. IF you really found the TRUE answer to your question, why don't you share it with the rest of us fools who lack your MENSA level I.Q. ? Of course we'll expect source and contact information for the pearls you will cast before us swine. You have a wonderful Christmas, one can only hope Santa brings you a Retumbo can filled with Bullseye ! Just think of the velocity you could get (once). LOL! A side note to Instructor: I have no angst, I've been behind the trigger for 60+ years and have zero tolerance for BS artists who could cause novices to harm themselves by following criminal advice suggesting that overloading cartridges is a wonderful idea. The goal of the site is to promote ACCURATE and SAFE reloading. The former is nice, the latter should be required.

Larry, Not sure who you think I am, but I am EddyBo and only EddyBo on every forum I have ever joined. I don't play games and swap names and have never been banned from any forum, you cannot say the same. My name is Paul Guy, I am a semi retired attorney, a business owner and shooter/gun fanatic/smith. I learned to build guns by sitting and watching Don Geraci build rifles. Don and I shot f-class and benchrest together for a few years until I had some health problems. For several years before my health problems I built rifles for forum members on the MS dept of wildlife forums for free. I still build rifles for friends and forum members for free, but I have scaled back a bunch. I have built several for guys on the fire, the hide, and LRhunting as well, but I mostly build guns for local guys and for myself. I also have a 800 yard rifle range in my back yard. My reloading room and the firing line with two concrete benches is indoor, iit is basically open to anyone wanting to learn to shoot long range. I do not think I have ever responded to any of your drivel on the fire, if I recall. I am not into the dog pile attitude. I stated an opinion in my first post and asked a simple question. Your response showed what an old punk you are, I usually respond in kind. The pressure rating for the 300 lapua is still in the 68K range via CIP, and there seems to be some ambiguity as to the reason for the change of the parent case. I have read most of what there is out there on the subject and there are still questions in my mind as to the reasoning. Was it just a mistake? Was there another reason? What is the whole story behind the change? Apparently you have no info to lessen my curiosity on the subject so go play in the road. As to my joining this site years ago and never posting, I am a way more avid reader, and I already post on too many sites. I have recently gotten bored with some of those sites and have been spending more time here.

When in doubt, slander always works for the troll patrol. Produce the evidence or go back to being a lurker. Notice you avoided answering your BS about signing a waiver to buy a 700 338 LM. IMHO "semi-retired" attorneys are the best kind as long as they don't become politicians ! Think we're all done here, although I would suggest if you are going to build rifles and suggest to people that they use over pressure loads, you might want to have them sign a waiver. Notifications are going off, so knock yourself out yelling insults to an empty room. (chuckle)

Yep you have just showed your real douschness reigns supreme. BTW I think a CM rem 700 is maybe okay for a 338LM if you load to current CIP standards. I do not think a 30/338LM Imp. is okay on a SS 700 loaded to current CIP standards. PRODUCE EVIDENCE OF WHAT? You want photos of my range? My shop, mill, my lathe? My loading/shooting room? You want photos of my rifles? What the hell are you wanting proof of? It is apparent you have no info on my original question, so bugger off.

Why don't both of you put your organs back in your pants and move on? You've managed to derail a dying thread. A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.
