This is just a preliminary test. I'm not sure if the link I get from Amazon is persistent, or for that matter if Amazon allows this type of usage, but thought it was worth a try. It seems to work, though I had to resize the photo myself. And, I have no idea yet whether this would help solve the problems when posting from a phone or tablet.



For what it's worth, I uploaded the photo to Amazon Prime photo storage, viewed the photo, then in my desktop web browser (Firefox), I right clicked on the photo and chose "Copy image location", then pasted that link in with the image button.

Neither can I see it anymore. Apparently the link was only persistent for a short while. I had hoped that, being a paid service, it might allow me to host photos that could be directly embedded. Apparently not.
