Hello:

My name is Jim Welles. I own and operate JFW Ranch Consulting, LLC, 10600 Eagle Rock Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87122. Our phone number is 505.294.7861. I have been a registered outfitter in NM for 16 years.

This is a muzzle loader hunt unit.

We have(1)public land, fully outfitted trophy bull elk hunt available at $5,500 + NMGRT, 1x1, in GMU 13. The price includes a Guaranteed LO permit, meals, lodging (motel, tent, trailer) field care of trophy. You are responsible for your NM state license, $789, stamps, and transport to the hunt area. Airport pickup can be arranged. You can choose from the following dates for the five day hunt, Oct 8, "youth only", Oct 15, Oct 22, and late season Nov 19.

If you have a young hunter less that 18, this one is primo and the youth timeframe is peak rut.

If you'd like to do this one on your own, the LO Authorization is available. The price is $2,800 + NM Gross Receipts Tax. Same dates as above and we will help get you into the right places to hunt.

Unit 13 is a big bull area. The picture below is a 392 taken last fall by one of our archery hunters. This is not an easy hunt. High level physical conditioning is strongly recommended.

If you have any questions, email us at JFWRC@comcast.net or call 505.294.7861.

Hey Jim, you have lost your "I was busy" excuse, why don't you answer the question myself and another asked you on the last "offer" you made on here?

505 - Why don't you give him a call? I've called him before and got him on the first try. I would assume he doesn't check AR more than a couple times a week based on his post history.

Jim is a bit iffy on the get back....

I've talked to him twice now about goat tags with promised call backs and haven't heard a word. That's over the last two years. Kind of fishy if you ask me.

I have a better idea, How about I just make a mental note to never do business with this man. If someone is able enough to make an offer yet undisciplined enough to follow up and answer questions for those who inquire about the offer, they definetely cannot be trusted with money.

Amazing-

Greg-I think I replied to you promptly regarding a 13 hunt last year.

I just got in from a ranch we work with. I regret that I hadn't seen the posts on the antelope hunt at Vaughn. I have posted back on that forum. I apologize for not posting back within the last 2 days. Our phone number is posted at the beginning of the thread as required and I am sure one of us would have been right back at you.

I hope that some will note that our e-mail address and phone number is posted here as well. We have phones with e-mail and are able to reply promptly.

Surestrike-please refresh me on your calls.I apologize if you were never responded to. We strive to provide quality customer service. If you were never responded to, that is bad and I truly am sorry.

I am happy to send any of you references on our customer service.

Jim

All,

For what it's worth, I've been speaking and corresponding with Jim over the last couple of months or so and haven't found him any harder to track down than anybody else these days. Work keeps me from "socializing" as much as I might like; reckon others might have the same problem.

Jim is currently holding my money toward a foray against the speedgoats come September; I expect I'll find out how he does business at that time. Til then, I don't see any reason at all for concern...and I've yet to lay eyes on the man.

I suppose age is making my skin a bit thicker while it makes my hair a bit thinner, and I've grown a lot more particular about what upsets me...life's gettin' shorter with every tick of the clock!

My two cents,

Mark

Jim,
I have a question, you previously offered a hunt you and your wife purchased on the Jicarilla Reservation. Could that tag be transferred to another person?

DEW and 218 Bee......thanks for your support.

This hunt is still available and we are available to respond at either JFWRC@comcast.net, 505.294.7861 or 505.967.6562 cell.

Some of you may have seen Elk Chronicals last weekend. A couple of portions of that episode were filmed on the RMEF Double H Ranch between Magdelena and Datil. That is unit 13. We lucked out and drew 3 of the NR youth hunters scheduled October 8th. We also have 1 other youth hunter going in on a fully guided hunt Oct 8th on a LO permit. This is prime time in 13. We are planning on a full blitz play this timeframe. Get your son or daughter and lets go hunt big bulls. Jim
