Charlie mentioned getting some deals (relative to European prices) + Courteney boots. For the most part, I didn’t find the prices cheap relative to American prices, but they had a great selection of books at very good prices, some of which are not available in the USA. I found it well worth the visit and brought home these books:



How to get there from Cape Town? I just took an Uber both ways; total cost was $30, with tips, round trip from central Cape Town.
