AR Member MLindsay ask me to post these for him and for John Tolmay.

This is his (Tolmay's) new sculpture ready to be bronzed.

Per John Tolmay: "Herewith the latest Elephant piece called the Askari Bull. Keeper of the Holy Graile. It is 17 inches at the highest point on the old bulls shoulder and the trunk of the Askari".

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

I am always amazed to see the talent that some people possess. Fantastic.

I have a couple of John's pieces. His work is very realistic and he captures buffalo as well as any artist I've come across.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

amazing stuff, do you have a link to his website. Also could you post up some pictures of your statues that he's done. The detail work is amazing, it almost looks like a piece of taxidermy work
