Is there any thing to hunt that far north? I always been.interested in it because I think being that far away from civilization would add to the hunting. Just thought I would ask also it looks real beautiful from the pictures. Im from south ga so snow and icebergs or mountains are things id like to see if I could hunt there. Plus its hot as africa here and.higher humidity so I don't want to go somewhere that's like home haha

I hunted Musk Ox and Barren ground Caribou out of Cambridge Bay, down on the Ellice River in 2000 and had a great time.

I was there in late August/early September and really enjoyed the trip.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

Just in from Nunavut yesterday. It was tough going, animal migrations for Arctic Island Caribou were slow and they were out of town more than 50 miles in some cases. Still, everyone in my party tagged a caribou and/or a musk ox, but we stayed extra days due to weather. It was a great experience though.
