Buddy Tom and I went up to Noel to see the Bluff Dwellers Cave, then on to Jane MO to visit friends and check out some caves on their property. They had just gathered a bunch of Morels, and we were served a supper of fried morels and shrimp fondue, with Light Beer to keep the calorie count down.
The oldest Indian remains at BDWC are Archaic and approximately 7000 years old (5000 BC)
The well lighted stand-up-room cave pix are BDC, the small crawling caves are on the property. Bill and Linda get their water from a cave behind the house with a rocked in front . They do have a filter system.

Thanks, Mary.
MacDonald county Missouri has over 500 known caves. I have 70 acres next to Bill and Linda, and suspect there is an extension of Henson Cave into my property. I need to find an opening! Big Grin
