Someone at work was talking about a documentary on the Discovery Channel. They say this thing is or was supposed to be a chimp/human hybrid. It had 47 chromosomes (we have 46, chimps have 48). It was kept by a woman somewhere, but she had to get rid of it when it reached sexual maturity, because it was after her and very aggressive. The person who saw the documentary didn't see the whole thing, so she didn't know where this woman got Oliver or where Oliver went when he was gotten rid of.

Anyone else heard of this?

I saw some web site that was skeptical. The author there said it's only a matter of time until an actual humanzee is born, and if you can not imagine a human copulating with a chimp, you don't know very much about humans.

If this were true I think we would have found out about it several hundred years ago.

Good article Lasse,I saw the docummentry.When they took an xray you could see all the differences.Defintely chimp and no human.I am at the age that people die of natural causes,seen alot,been alot of places and never have seen a half man/half chimp anywhere,I do wonder about some folks mentality at times though,some of the things people do to others sure don't seem human.Drop-Shot

Oddly enough they talk about such things as human - chimp hybrids in the Congo quite a bit and accept their existence as real. Maybe that is where it came from.

A human will breed with ANYTHING, live or dead. I think the problem would be in getting the chimp bred BEFORE, she ripped your John Thomas off fed it to you and then ripped your head off. Chimps, especially wild ones, are extremely strong, and anti-social toward humans.
