Any thoughts?
Rodney what do you think?

Kinda reminds me of RIP's 500 Mbogo with a .11" fatter bullet.
600 NE capacity but no advantage over the Overkill
Ideal to put this on a PH action when they hit the market.

Actualy the neck is supposed to be another .1" longer to match the length of the 470 Nitro Express neck length. Sorry, needed to proof the #'s better.

From what I know the OK is .683" on the belt and .656" casehead so there is about a 40 thou diff on the casehead but shooting the OK at top loads you would probably lose your nerve before running out of performance. This would not do anything the OK couldn't but it would be different and pretty much be a rimless shouldered 600 NE

Was thinking this has pretty much the same shoulder and minimal taper like my 470 AR but being 30% fatter so 30% more area to headspace off of. The 470 AR works like a charm! This should too!

Boom

I Like it pretty good--but the problem I see is that it is a little fat for my Winchesters?

Hey Pal!

Michael...
This might be against your Winchester religion but you could put it on an old surplus P17 maybe in a Winchester or PH MRC action.

Boom

Yeah, you are probably correct on that, but not quite my style. Anyway right now I have my hands full with what I got in the works and coming thru the pipeline. You ready for a 500 MDM yet?

Think there is a .600 Jurassic class rifle in the near future, why not? Drawings in the works as this is written. Rodney.
