what do you guys think of signing up and splitting the cost of wildcatting the 375 ruger?

you could post yer caliber flavor and we can split the cost of reamer and dies ect.

if there are say 10 30's 15 338's 20 416's ect.

we could put the power of a.r. to work in our favor.

we could get fred zeglin of z-hat to make some primo dies ect.

lets test the watters.

please post your thoughts on how to do this as well.

i would be happy to chip in on the 411-375 BOOM

Boomstick,
this is good of you to ry to organize a group buy and might save a lot of money for the group.....if I was a betting man and I was Steve Hornady, I'd have standard dies available for the .375 Ruger in 30 cal, 338 cal, 416cal and maybe even 458 cal.

Now that I've discovered how easy it is to stretch the M-70 classic to .375 H&H length, I've lost interest in the .375 Ruger.

I say this as a nudge for reloading die makers to have this wildcat series on the shelf as I'm with you here.....this will be wildcatted as much as any cartridge ever!

well i believe hornady ruger wont make the 7mm, 8mm, 35, 9,3 the 411 the 458 (body needs blowing out and minimal shoulder) and the 30 is in doubt imho cuzz of being overbore on lighter bullets. the common ones might get built but hey....who wants to wait several years when we know that the specs will be! .425 Westley Ruger (.435cal) (RIP)
.458 Roger Kick "Butt" (Roger) (We shall see if maybe Roger wants to reconsider. After all I changed the ".395 John" to ".395 Ripper," one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.)

plus jeffeossos 338

hey rip...great minds think alike!

i was thinking we needed a cal between the 375 and 416 and came up with the 395 as well Big Grin

that opens a new chapter in wildcatting.

395-06 please when you get the bullets made...

mike at north fork will make custom bullets with enough of an order jumping

i had a few others in my head...they will come to me soon bewildered

Could 8 x 57 Mauser barrels be rechambered with the .318 reamer? If marginal why not a .323 instead (this is one I'd be interested in).
