Vibe....the .257 Dart is a shortened .220 Swift that's necked up to .25 caliber (40 degree shoulder). I've used it for benchrest shooting over the years and it's groups extremely well.

May I ask the water capacity of that cartridge and if that's a problem then just give us a load.

Also what action do you use?

My internal program does list it!

Just two now, .309 JDJ and .50 Alaskan. Sorta kinda wildcats would be the .458 SOCOM and .32 NAA. Many years ago I fooled around with the .458x2" American.

Anyway, I'll go first....I have:

6.5 Gibbs
416 Taylor

6.5 ultra mag. My first and only wildcat. Used to have a 357/45win mag but LAR made ammo for it so it doesn't count. Also used to shoot a .450 mag express made by north american arms. That one was hard to find brass for. I really like the 6.5 rum, hardly any felt recoil at all.

I thought I was one, a "wildcatter" that is. Until I see what you guys load, WOW, loading so many different chamberings must be fun. I load only a couple of .358 STA's, and thought I was really stepping out. Compared to you guys I am a "babe in the woods". As someone used to say "so many chamberings out there and so little time". [Wink] Good shooting.

My 25-223 (not AI) is an excellent performer with the 72-85gr bullets I've tried.
Past wildcats have been the K-Hornet, with a 17 Mach IV in the near future.
