Does the world need another 550? No. Between the 550 express and the 550 gibbs both of which are better imho. I guess it would have about the same capacity as the 550 Magnum but that one is better too. Like I said...the others are better... The best way would be to rebore a 500 Jeffery I guess. I figured the 550 Jeffery to be about 155 grains capacity and I think the 550 magnum is 160 ish right? Save your pennies for the 666 Teufel at 250 grains water, 1200 grain FN @ 2200 in a 22lb repeater. Y'all got plenty of 550's! When the big beasties come a knocking you need something to knock back!!  | |||
