338x376 Steyr? Should be between the fast 33s and the 338-06 right? Used in standard actions, should allow for seating the bigger 250s out far enough not to eat into powder capacity as is the case with the 06 and 338 Fed. Keep a 30 shoulder for slick feeding. At the very least shouldn't this push bullets faster then the 06 at lower pressures?

All a matter of taste but I'd rather have a 338 RCM or 338-284

Did I read that right? Boom stick would prefer a...a....FACTORY cartridge?? Lol jk

I have a pal with a 338-284 and he is quite happy with it minus the seating issues as he put it in a Win 88.

What's 284 brass availability like? Hornady 376 is what 50$ a box and usuall around from what I have seen.
