AnotherAZWriterCornie and Elaine Coetzee - Leopard in Namibia - Anyone hunt with them?
Am considering booking a hunt for leopard in Namibia in 2010 with this outfit. Any reports would be appreciated.

SGraves155I hunted with them two years ago, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. There were leopard tracks in every area we hunted, both in the Okahandja and the Etosha areas. I hunted in Oct which was the wrong time of the year for cats as the plains game calves were all several weeks old and easy prey, and we had no success with baiting. The kudu, gesmbok, hartebeest, springbok, and mountain zebra were plentiful on the cattle ranches. We hunted a "game ranch" for wildebeest.

MLindsayI have hunted with them several times. I met them on my first trip to Africa in 1995 and became good friends.
I took my wife on a trip a couple years ago to an area on the south border of Etosha park. Elaine and Cornie had the hunting rights on several cattle ranches there and my wife took 4 plains games species for her first animals ever. We had a wonderful time. Last year I took one of the owners of the company I work for on his first trip to Africa. He took 6 or 7 plains game species and we had a marvelous time.
I highly recommend them.

RAdkinsMy Brother and I hunted with CEC Safaris in 2007. This was our first trip to Africa and if I get the opportunity to return it will be with Cornie and Elaine. Cornie takes the time to explain all elements of the hunt and throws in some history of Namibia that I found interesting. Elaine is also a PH and very patient with clients. Besides being a very gracious host and lady. I cannot recommend this couple highly enough. Leopards? A quick look at their web site for the ones that they took last year should be enough proof.
