Great animals. It looks like you guys had a good trip. The lodge looks comfortable. Are you planning your return trip yet?
Funny how a lot of places look the same. I was in Alldays this past Mar/Apr. at a very similar looking petrol station.
Good hunting.

L. David KeithEnjoyed the pics, thanks for sharing. My favorite pic was the close up of the Impala horn. Taxidermists should take careful note of it. Maybe it will assist in keeping the black paint off Impala horns

Cheers,
David

jens poulsenNice pictures..Great trip!!

Its always nice when someone takes pictures of landscapes, arealphotos and social moments from where they have been and done. It gives so much more impression of the overall observation seen from a laptop screen.

wvdeerslayerDear Readers of this Great Forum.
I must tell you after weeks of investigating to make sure my facts were indeed corret. The pictures in this sight may have been taken by someone of this so called elitehuntingusa. But I asure you 100% elitehuntinusa had NOTHING to do with booking, guiding,or property nor has any connection with the Great Outfitter that put that hunt together..
I write this only because I do not like people who try and take credit for things they have nothing to do with.
I openly await any replys or opinions.

dogcatAllan,
What are you talking about?
Are you saying this was a hoax or that someone posted a bunch of pics that were not from their hunt?
What does "collector" say?
08 July 2009, 18:35
Die Ou JagterAllan, I am confused by your post. As I read the post collector is EliteHuntingUSA which appears to be a booking agent not a PH or Outfitter. What is your point? Cheers.
08 July 2009, 19:18
wvdeerslayerGoodmorning to you early birds:
What I am saying is that the " person who took the photos never reperesented themselves as a booking agent when he went on the Safari you see posted". He took the pictures of the Animals while on Safari with a Private Family owned company and is " quote from elitehuntingusa water marked the photos" I believe indicating they were responsible for the success of the hunts. And NOTHING could be further from the truth. " THEY were guests and clients only"
Again, have a nice day. And I hpoe that cleared things up for you.
Allan
08 July 2009, 19:54
Die Ou Jagterwvdeerslayer, if you look at the post he is EliteHuntingUSA, which is exactly the oposite of your post. He did represent himself as a booking agent not just a "regular" hunter as you seem to infer. Come now you are smarter than a box of "black rocks", yes.
08 July 2009, 21:21
dogcatI may be the dumb one here as I am still confused.
Was Collector the hunter, the agent, the photographer or what?
I think you are saying that Collector is elitehuntingusa but was just on a trip for himself and family. His photos are just marked elitehuntingusa .
IS that what is going on?
08 July 2009, 21:31
458HunterHi Joedjr yes you are correct the PH was Shaun and the tracker was Joseph and they were hunting with Motsomi Safaris and I think that is what Allan tried to tell fellow forum readers that this was a Motsomi Hunt.
08 July 2009, 23:00
Gayne C. YoungI hunted that area year before last. Loved the whole time. Looks like you did too.
Congrats!

I hunted with Motsomi last July, arranged through Pieter who owns Motsomi. Pieter set me up with Shaun as my PH and even though we hunted private property Shaun did an oustanding job puuting me on some fantastic animals. We did get over to visit and hunt on Pieter's properties. What a great set up they have. here is my post and pictures from last year.

collectorHello Everyone,
We are a Safari and Bird Hunting booking company. I personally went on this safari with my client and took these pictures on this Safari, hence the watermark on all photos.
I started the first post making it clear upfront that Safari was organized by us.
Safari Organized by:
http://www.EliteHuntingUSA.comIf someone who is implying that pictures were not taken by me or that the Safari was not organized by Elite Hunting USA then I am afraid they are mistaken.
Our company helps organize Safaris for:
- First time hunters
- Hunters with special needs
- Senior Citizens who may not want to travel alone
- People who do not want to be bothered with logistics
We take care of all the logistics and paper work, travel arrangements, airline tickets, firearm permits, taxidermy logistics, broker costs, shipping of trophies to the customer door, etc.
This hunt took place at Matla Mamba lodge which is owned by Hannes & Cora du Preez. The hunting service that we used in South Africa (Motsomi) does not book through booking agents in USA for their South African hunts. They like to keep it that way and that is their business model for South Africa.
I can list the names of all the people (close to 20) involved in making this Safari a huge success for our client.
My intention was to share the pics with everyone here, not to name names or to type mundane details. Apparently someone is upset about our pictures and hence the wrath of these accusations from someone who "just" happened to register 4 days ago at Accurate Reloading Forum.
09 July 2009, 18:24
wvdeerslayerYes you are correct in that I just joined the sight 4 days ago... but I have been enjoying the sight for a while. I never needed to join in till I saw elitehuntinsusa postings stating they were responsable for that hunt.
I have Hunted with Motsomi Safaris and they do the booking and they do the logistics of the Hunt, the animal skins and horns to the Taxidermist.
They pick the clients up and take them to the airports. they clean there cloths and iron them each day.
And it is there PH's and tracker and skinners and cooks.
So what I am saying for the last time... I have no need for people who try a take credit for others work.
People...Do you home work, book or meet YOUR outfitter at the sportshows directly. Sit and talk with the Outfitter that is going to be by your side from the moment you get off the plane till you drop that tear walking back down the ramp at the airport on the way home.
Brokers are want a be's...
what's that old saying " those that can't, Teach.
Not someone who sit in a chair in whet I see posted is in Pennsylvania.

collectorwvdeerslayer,
People have different needs, some are terrified to step outside of the country, or to deal with all of the paperwork, or of bureaucracy....this is one area where we, Elite Hunting USA excel at.
I am surprised that in this day and age and the state of the economy that USA and the World are in, that you would want to defame our good name. We have so many good friends in South Africa and all we are trying to do is help generate business for them, which in turn brings in hard-earned US dollars into the country of South Africa.
We take pride in what we do, most of our clients are senior citizens, who may not be able to go on a Safari or a Bird hunt by themselves or who may not want to deal with the paperwork necessary to take an international trip.
I am not sure if it was your own idea to do your "investigation" or someone else put you up to it.
In any case I have nothing to hide and I will gladly discuss our business model with anyone and how we operate and serve fellow American Senior Citizens.
wvdeerslayer, if you have a friend or relative who may not want to go on a safari by himself or herself for any reason, be it medical, be it age, or some other disability, please let us know, we will be happy to arrange a Safari for them.
