My family and I just got back from the East Cape of South Africa. On this trip I took my entire family so they could also enjoy Africa. My son Hunter age 11 is a crazy killing machine and this was his first safari. I also took my daughter Ashley 13 and Kaley 4.
Of course my wife was supervising this operation so I wouldn't get her babies eaten by some wild animal.

I was a little nervous about taking the whole crew especially the little one, on such a long plane ride but they did great and enjoyed every bit of the vacation. If you are thinking about taking the family on safari with you but are hesitating for whatever reason, do it now. The excitement of Africa is even better when your children are in constant awe of the animals and scenery. The nice thing about the East Cape is that there are no malaria precautions which makes it a lot easier for the kids.

The only bad part of the trip is that my kids consistantly shot bigger animals than I did and remind me daily.

I was going to do an enire write up for this trip but my PH Carl wrote it up for his blog. Since I am lazy and he did a great job I just listed a link to the blog.

Robinson Family Safari

Here is the link for his entire blog. There are some nice hunts written about there.

I hope those links work. I have never done this before.

Thank you for the comments.
The kids did have a good time and they are still on cloud nine after the trip.
My son is very cocky knowing that I will probably never beat his 14+inch black springbok. I may have created a monster. Smiler
