In February, I had the pleasure of being on safari again in Chad. Only a small number of hunters get the opportunity to hunt Chad each year for several unique species...including western kudu. We again had a wonderful safari and wanted to share photos from our experience.

Fantastic photos as always Christophe! Looks like a wonderful adventure. Are they hunting any buffalo in Chad at this point?

Congratulations to the client too. Takes some cojones to hunt Chad when you are so old you need a stick to walk! I wonder what his wife had to say about it?

What an adventure, all the Warthogs tusks look heavier than what you typically see, and the last 3 pics of the Kudu look like a stomper?

wow Christophe that one is one of the rarest for sure.

i hunted many moons ago on the other side of the border in RCA/CAR in the aouk you might even remember there the big city of birao lol with our boss: the kudu. this is where i learnt they were eating watermelons and the locals wont touch them for meat as they were scared of leprosis ...

thank you for the magic and the souvenirs.

Thank you for sharing these photos, they tell an interesting story. How close are you to the Cameroon border? It looks very similar, but of course some animals not found in northern Cameroon.

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

One of my dream hunts and to go with Christophe.
I have been in Chad, a real grim place but the hunting looks intriguing.
