My wife and I just got back last week from our 2nd safari in a year. Last year we had an excellent "honeymoon" with Cruiser Safaris and could not wait to get back over there. I did not think it would be quite this soon though. While looking for a hunting video on the internet I ran across Scott's Outdoors website, on their website was a link to register to win a free South African safari with Andrea's Safaris. Well I figured I'd check it out and saw it was very easy to register, so I did. A couple weeks later I get a call at night from what seemed to be a telemarketer asking me if I felt lucky today. My response - NO. He said well it was my lucky day, do I want to know why? Ready to hang up, I said sure go ahead and tell me. He introduced himself as Richard Beck and said he and his wife Vickie just drew my name to come hunt with them on a 6 animal, 8 day, all expense paid safari at their farm in RSA (minus airfare). I will post all the details later, but I will post a link to a webshots page that I put a few pictures on from my hunt. After finding out I was there last year and had already shot 4 of the free 6 animals in the package they gladly let me switch them out for other animals to add to my collection. We had an amazing trip and the area was beautiful. Richard and Vickie were great people and their farm was amazing. I got some very good animals as you can see in the pics. One of the highlights of the trip especially for my wife was the trip we took to a small school house where we brought tons of school supplies and a few toys for the local kids. They all sang songs for us and the experiance was amazing. It was nice to give especially on a trip that was given to us. Richard and Vickie went from being what I thought was telemarketers to great friends and I can't say enough about them. I will post more details about the hunt later, but for now enjoy some pics. http://community.webshots.com/user/lengvarskybd

Nice pics. What did you shoot the pics with? They're really crisp and clear with no pixelation. Thanks. Lo do they call to me, They bid me take my place among them in the Halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever.

The camera is a Kodak P850 with a 12x optical zoom. It's nothing sepcial, but a lot of the pictures did come out very good. We took well over 2,000 pictures while we were there I just went through and picked a few to share. That lion was very big, he was eating a blue wildebeest, the best part was when a younger male tried to get some how loud he growled and showed him who was boss. Got some really good video too of him crunching on that wildebeest.
