Bastrop intruder was wanted in assualt case

quote:
An intruder who was killed by a 75-year-old homeowner in a botched home invasion in Bastrop County last week had been wanted by police in an assault case, according to an arrest affidavit issued last month.

Jonathon Warner Jones, 37, pictured at right, was facing an outstanding warrant after being charged with assault causing bodily injury charges in a case involving a female relative, according to an arrest affidavit filed by the Bastrop County sheriff’s office.

Late last Friday, 75-year-old Marion Lee Hill, pictured below, arrived to his Cedar Creek home to find Jones in the midst of a home invasion, the Bastrop Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. A struggle ensued in the living room and led into the kitchen, where Hill, a longtime Cedar Creek resident and business owner, stabbed Jones in the left arm and chest, officials said. Jones was dead when police arrived, said Bastrop Sheriff Terry Pickering.

Lesson learned? Not even a Texas Ranger will eff with a 75 year old who knifes a felon half his age.

And the last place you want the confrontation to go is into the kitchen. Home-owner will slice and dice you like an Easter Ham, and then serve you up to the coroner.

Two knife wounds. Sounds like Marion knew where to stab. tu2

Arm and chest. First he neutralized the weapon hand, then he went for the kill.

Like every repeat offender, he's where he belongs now.

If I were king......you get one chance(except for pedophilia, rape or murder/attempted murder), second offense is either life in a labor camp or death. I'd bet many offenders would think twice.

Love the gnarly tattoo, but I still like 'BERSERKER' across the forehead best.

Stab to the LEFT arm. I'm betting he was going for the heart and stabbed until he got it. Sounds like it took two stabs. tu2

You know for a fact the guy wasn't a southpaw?

Whatever arm it was Marion hit, it was in the way. Seems to me he eliminated the wolf closest to the sled first.

Are those moles under his right eye or tear tats?
I've read tear tats indicate the person has killed someone.

From the Urban Dictionary:

Traditionally the tattoo tear signified that the wearer had killed someone. The meaning of the tattoo however can vary between ethnicity and region. For example in australia, a tattoo tear is sometimes forcefully tattooed on an inmate who had sexually assualted a child. More recently the tattoo tear has come to mean a fellow family or gang member has dies while the wearer was incarcerated. If you do not fit any of these criteria don't get a tear tattoo.
Lil' Wayne has a Tattoo Tear under his eye.

The Tear drop thing has been bastardized and means a lot of different things to different gangs.

Some convicts get them to try to fit in. The tear drop being filled in is different from one that is just the outline of tear also.

I was under the impression that each tear tat represented 10 years in the slammer, no?

I'm betting that tear-drop tattoo -- if that's what it is -- is six feet under and rotting in Hell.

Ryan is correct, doesn't really mean anything in particular, except I've never seen one a "good guy", only crooks.
