Don't know. I was at a ADA meting. Saw on the tele at Macca's it was 25 to 20 to the wallabys with 17 minutes to go. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

gryphy , me old cock - the signiture line quote comes from a tee-shirt I bought on my way out of Auckland Airport about ten years ago en-route to Coonabarrabran in deepest, darkest New South Wales for a conferance I was attending . I wore it down one side of the main street and back up the other , unaccompanied , and no rednecks or enraged Ockkers saw fit to pounce on me and give me a bashing as a result . Seems the only ones it bothers are- hmm , let me see now ...- yourself and Mr Graham. Most others see it for what it is , a bit of fun , a bit of a wind-up , and nothing worth getting your frilly knickers in a twist over. If you find it offensive then all I can say is " oh - how sad for YOU " Get over it, grow a thick skin and move on. The more you make a deal of it the more I will continue to respond cos I think its amusing. If you're interested - I havent watched any rugby ,and wont be ,so apart from the funny little "pigdog" cartoon I posted earlier I have nothing further to add. You boys have a nice time of the competition now wontchas all... ________________________ Old enough to know better

Ha Ha! its a good story and deserves telling. I wasnt so worried about the koala in the tree though, as i was by the moveing grass at my feet. Jeez my knees hit my chin as I lept 12 feet in the air. I still got in the grass looking for that injured brown snake by your letterbox though, so I aint that windy.

Did you bet against Aus Gryph? I had my two Aussie girls here last night, all dressed in gold. Naturally I had to declare my support of Ireland pre match. I thought I was in for a verbal reeming. It was a good night , they slunk off to bed with not a word spoken.

Ireland deserved the win, Aust played so far below what they can they didn't deserve to win. I doubt we will make the final now. .

I totally agree with that Nigel. I was surprised to shee how well the Irish scrummed and the number of penalties the aussies gave away in frustration. I actually think the Aussies were lucky it was not a 24/6 score line.

I didn't watch all of it but reading the papers, that could well have been the case. The kicking in this world Cup is awful and some vastly different score lines would be up in lights if the kickers had been on target. .
|

The ref was giving those penalties away - not the Aussies!! A day spent in the bush is a day added to your life Hunt Australia - Website Hunt Australia - Facebook Hunt Australia - TV

Well if you only mean't the ultra rich then why did you generalise?? And that is still incorrect, complete bullshit - if the ultra rich as you call them had no sentiment then there would be no philanthropy or bonuses in large companies and we know that is not the case. There are plenty very generous wealthy people who reward their staff and help friends and charities. They are also not afriad to make business deals to benefit all parties. I know plenty of ultra-rich people who are incredibly generous... here's one right here... http://forums.accuratereloadin...1411043/m/5031061361 And I am not your son either.... your condescending attitude really stinks sometimes... I doubt you would call me 'son' to my face. A day spent in the bush is a day added to your life Hunt Australia - Website Hunt Australia - Facebook Hunt Australia - TV

Ok, a couple might have been dubious but some of them were obvious infringements. And all the newspapers, written by well known good Rugby players including Australian one's thought Australia gave away too many. Admit it Matt, we didn't play well when we should have, they did, we didn't deserve to win. No more excuses, it's been years since Australia has played like it used to. We have the talent but they just can't seem to "get it together" on a CONSISTENT basis. . .

Its rather like having a 1/2 MOA gun that we can't seem to shoot in the field to hit but one in 4 or 5 animals. Need to get it all together on the day & we just aren't doing it often enough. Our last chance is maybe the group round against S.A. & the only thing there is that they are doing a worse job of it than us at the moment & thats saying something.......as a team we are doing great at being inconsistent in our execution.

Now petal dont go getting antagonistic again, its not a requirement to have when one is a firearms licence holder. As far as generalising if you aspire to be rich its not a bad attitude to have...its not my line either its from some ultra rich dude (FII remember who) yep someone who knows! Philanthropists you say, well its topical actually, see the news where Dick Smith was lamenting "how few there are amongst the filthy rich in Australia" that was only last week! Percentage wise with the rest of the world there are more that would rather lose a kidney than open their wallets... there are very very few at all. Bonuses? Hmmm in large companies eh? Seems to me that the exec`s get the bonuses, award them to themselves..thats topical too, look up the recent kerfuffle about the top dog at Qantas. The average bloke gets sfa thats why you probably dont see too many ave blokes paying for a few days in your camp. Gee when you went on your little escapade up in Mansfield last time (YOU know the one,yep that one) you basically drove past my front door coming from Melbourne, now if you want to call on me ,next time you are heading up to Mansfield let me know and I will meet you if you like Matty and believe me I actually could conjure up a word or three far worse than 'son' and to your face if you require it,its water off a ducks back to me SIR! Until we joust again, have a nice day Matty. Posts: 87 | Location: Victoria Australia | Registered: 07 September 2002
