Bakes, try the patrol boat ramp at Larrakeyah Bks (if it's still there), for Queenies and Cobia.
Last time I was there, we got a 8 Kg Queenie on a handline. And got snapped off by some that were much bigger...

That would be a Queenfish... Also known as a "Queenie" or skinny fish depending on where you are from. Spectacular fight from them with some dramatic aerobatics.

Some like them as an eating fish but I find them a little dry. Must be bled quickly. Great fish tossed on the BBQ fresh though Big Grin
