I understand that there are several different species of water buff-- some with 48 chromosomes, some with 50, some totally domesticated, some partially so, some almost totally wild. The australian wild buff is an impressive animal and I am going to hunt him. Does anyone know his scientific name, number of chromosomes, and county of origen? Like most buff, they have two big chromosomes, dangling between the hind legs... Why do you want to know? Frans (Carmor Plains... why does that ring a bell?) | |||
