Any story on the head mount of the hound?
What are the large gray and white birds hanging upside-down?
Pretty interesting pics Dina, I always like looking on older pics from different era than we live in. Also interested in the hound, maybe got killed by the bear?
Also, in the pic above the 3 mounted Alpine Gemsbock, in the bottom right, below the Cape Buff flanking the Springbock, do you know what animal they are? Waidmannsheil, Dom.

bird is a DROPIE(romanian name) or Otis tarda(latin name). Unfortunatelly, now all those magnificent birds are gone.

It's definitely a hartebeest, probably a Swayne's.

Thanks B.Martins, now that I look at them again, yes I see they are some type of Hartebeest. Just look a bit 'crookeder' than what I've seen!
