Steffen: Rådjur is what your thinking about.

Caracal: We hunt them with dogs. We use russian laikas and plottdogs.

Very impressive.
They appear to be at least 50% larger than a North American bobcat.

How would someone not from Sweden (or Europe) go about arranging a hunt for these beautiful animals?

Do you only hunt them in the snow?

Fantastic pictures, reckon that would really appeal to me, much more than an african hunt?

SGraves155: Normaly a adult male lynx usually weights between 42-50 pounds. But some even grow as big as 70 pounds.

DB Bill: In Scandinavien it´s only aloud hunting them in the winter (febraury-mars).

In Scandinavien it´s a bit problematic to arrange guided hunts on lynx, because of the strict rules of hunting these animals. But there are some outfitters in Russia who sell guided hunts with allmost 100% sucess rate.

Nightwalker uk: I totally agree. These animals are the most magestic, and hard hunted species we have over here.

Best regards,

Rasmus

Nice to see the Terriers and the teckels working the foxes and badgers. It looks like you had some hard digs

Good to se you here Keybone,

Rasmus du är då allt bra välkommen,

there has been a shortage of swedish representation here, it´s been fixed now,

there are some 70 lynx shot every year in Sweden, there was 10 000 hunters registred to hunt for then in 07, those are not the best of odds,

still I am going again next year.

Best regards Chris
