Peter, Welcome. Wonderful pictures on your website. Those horses are clearly built fot cold weather! Steve "He wins the most, who honour saves. Success is not the test." thanks steve i use to ride and train icelandic horses, with the firm notion that they were the tughest equine on the planet, well not so these guys will go on forever and ever. they are from 14,2 to 15,2 hands high, wheighing 1100- 1300 pounds. with a leg in each corner, comode look, they give surefooted a new meaning. i will se if i can find some of the winter photos with them in full fur, they just adapt to the weather. had they been in alaska there would not have been a deadhorse city. the black stallion is my normal hunting partner he takes everything with a gentle look peter | |||
