We were almost on the buddy plan....'76-'80 here. The USMC is a small world....I have bumped into two guys (both at church...in VA and TX) that I had connections to in the Corps (but didn't know them at the time). One was in my series at PI (I was Platoon 188 and he was in 189) and the second had a CO who several years earlier was my XO. There are only a few degrees of separation between any two Marines who are serving at the same time, I suppose. 0351 USMC | |||
