They promised and delivered the 450/400 3 inch. They will deliver on the 404 Jeffery and others. Setting up to manufacture items, especially items in large quantity requires a Hell of a lot of prep. Me need cheaper .470 brass and bullets and the same for .404.... I am please let these Hornandy components come to fruition. That would be the happiest news I've had in a long long time! | |||

I don't care so much about the factory ammo, but the availabilty of an affordable domestic .423 bullet is great news. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT! | |||

They made a Ruger rifle before in .404 so the tooling is there already. Its fun to know that i might have the rifle in .450 NE that started the process of Ruger & Hornady making the round and rifle . I like the .404 very much with good 300 grain copper bullets, and 400 grain lead bullets its a fine versatile round + the good soft and hard nosed bullets of other types. | |||
