Marc Jamison is not related to Rick Jamison, unless you could trace it back to Plymouth Rock.

Jamison International has just bought out the brass production equipment of PMC, this subsequent to previous acquisition of the BELL/MAST production machines.

PMC will retain their name and sell ammo of foreign origin under their brand.

Jamison International grows.

I am groveling. Telling Marc I will name this cartridge after him if he will make .416 Rigby basic brass that is 3.000" long.

".500 M. Jamison": the "M" stands for "Marc," "Magnum," or "Mbogo," whatever you prefer to believe.

.500 Jamison for short.

Sort of harkens back to Bwana Jamieson and his .500 Jeffery.

A .470 Mbogo necked up to .510 caliber and trimmed to 3.000" brass length is unique. Never been done before. I claim it in the name of Marc Jamison, as the .500 M. Jamison.

Now to see if he will make some 3" long .416 Rigby basic brass with the basic "Jamison" headstamp. yankees

Will Hornady 416 brass make Jamison look like an expensive option?

Jamison is very reasonable with his prices.

When I bought some of his .505 Gibbs brass from the first run of it, he only charged me a buck a piece, and it is as good as Horneber or Lapua.

Since then his price has gone up to to what? A buck and a half?

Hornady .416 Rigby brass will probably be more expensive, lesser quality, have the wrong headstamp, and not be a full 3.000" long.

Jamison International brass would be best all around for this project.

I hope it has only the "Jamison" on the head stamp. I can add the ".500 M." later, or maybe they will if there is enough "brasskissing."

Jamison basic .416 Rigby brass of 3" length could be used for a lot of things. thumb
