Essentially, I'd want a load that would be mostly for PG, but could save my butt if I do something stupid -- I was thinking about Barnes X.

(Maybe the factory ammo's adequate... I don't know, but I didn't think Hornady had a great reputation for bullet performance.)

Anyone have any experience w. a custom loader? I know, I should learn to do it myself, and I plan on buying a forster press for practice purposes, but I don't really have the time/inclination to develop my own loads.

Caveat: I do not own and have not shot the .375 Ruger.

However, I have used other calibers including 9.3x62, .375H&H, and .458 Win Mag, loaded by Superior Ammo. If they are set up to load the .375 Ruger I think they would be a good choice.

I cannot comment on the Barnes for .375 as I have not used them in that size. I have used North Fork softs in 9.3x62 and was quite pleased.

I can say that i have delt with Ultimate Ammo
may times with great results met them at Dallas Safari. They are doing the 375 RUGER with many bullet choices. It's my understanding from discusion's they are big into Load Devlopment. I too have delt with Superior but know more many issues.

I have delt with Larry at Superior Ammo in Sturgis and have been 100% satisfied.

I do not own and never will own a .375 Ruger, partly because Hornady is the ammo source, but I do own and have hunted the .375 H&H using Swift A Frame bullets with sterling results.
