It seems that Manson and McGowen thought that a distinct name and marking on the reamers would help everyone keep the rather significant differences in freebore separate. I suggested "Nyati" addition as fitting for our beloved buffalo, (we do love them, don't we?), while at the same time not getting confused with the different dimensions of the Mbogo cartridges. (Both nyati and mbogo are used in Swahili for 'buffalo'.) So 500 Accurate Reloading Nyati it is. It is still Jeffeoso's cartridge design, 2.65" case, but with a short 1/4" freebore + 1 1/2° leade +-+-+-+-+-+-+ "A well-rounded hunting battery might include: 500 AccRel Nyati, 416 Rigby or 416 Ruger, 375Ruger or 338WM, 308 or 270, 243, 223" -- Conserving creation, hunting the harvest. | |||

Right.  Except that is 1-1/2 degree leade, not throat. "Throat" includes parallel-sided free-bore plus leade. | |||
