Wish I could have done this standing, but range rules don’t allow that.

Pleased with the results, although I was short on time and thus a bit rushed. The others are 30-30 out of a Henry lever action by my dad.

Like someone once said about a 600 Overkill target..."looks like a bird flew through it" :-)

Paul, I used to shoot mine without a brake as well...2,150 fps wasn't too bad.

It looks like you were shooting ping pong balls at the target! Better you than me, Doc!

The fluted barrel brings a smile to my face. Looks like a perfect safari stalking rifle for big stuff

WOW a range that doesn't allow off hand shooting.

Glad I own my own ranges.

Nice shooting. Who built this one for you? Do you still have your AHR, as well?

Thanks gentlemen!

I too wish I still had a place and range.
I’ll have to take Biebs up on his offer.

I no longer have my AHR built on a GMA action.

Sold it to or through Biebs to get my VC 600 NE.
That AHR was incredibly nice and a work of art that I used on Cape buffalo in Zimbabwe.
Wayne did amazing work and still does (made my dad’s 585AHR which he still has).

This one is build by Corey James on an MRC PH stainless action.

Thanks Jiri

900g CEB solid over 149g IMR 7828
In my previous 600 OK that gave about 2250fps.

Didn’t bring the chrono so don’t know about this one.
