Was wondering if anyone has ordered any GS Custom bullets recently and actually received them? I have sent e-mails to GS and pm'd Gerard on several occasions as to present backlog but have received no response. I know that this has been SOP for GS in the past, but, does anyone have current info about GS's order/delivery status? Thanks.

MikeD: I believe that Custom Brass & Bullets here in the USA is now carrying GS Custom bullets. I have no experience with them but others on AR have used them. Might want to contact them. www.custombrassandbullets.com I purchased a bunch of them when HV Concepts in Texas was handling them a year or so ago. Good Luck. RCG

I have received half on the order I placed last year. The other half is on its way. It really does take too long to get the GS custom stuff over here. square shooter

My last one took about 2 weeks shipping time to arrive from RSA. Recently it has been tough to get in touch with Gerard because of the AIM Show in RSA. He has been on the road, and dealing with the production he needed to do for the show beforehand. It has been easier to raise him by PM from this web site than email lately. I talked to him by telephone a couple of times within the last 2 months. He is alive. He can be reached. Here is a test: He said he shipped the first small batch of .395 "Trio" bullets to me about 11 days ago. We'll see ... Gerard, are you out there? There are wise people wanting your bullets.

How about the details, one more time? Surely this should be addressed if there is anything to it.

RNS, Thanks for the update. I have an order with you for bullets also. I have bought directly from GS in the past and they always came through with the bullets. One time I dropped cash in an envelope with an order form and mailed it from the Johannesburg Airport. I figured that I would never see the bullets, but I did.

The New Zealand based agent for GSC also does not/will not? answer emails for orders/enquiries....So I emailed GSC directly to find out why, they have not responded either.

RIP, My last contact with GSC was an email from Gina in June 2004 that said, "we have started the claim procedure via SA Post and your order has been scheduled for re-manufacturing." At that point I was tired of dealing with it, tired of being treated like I was somehow the bad guy in the whole situation, so when no bullets appeared, I didn't bother contacting them again. They did send me the wrong bullets way back in 2002. When I offered to send them back to Gerard, he refused. I eventually sold them to Longbob for the money I was out, so I'm no longer out any money and probably should have just kept my mouth shut. The aforementioned email from Gina came about as a result of a thread here in May/June 2004. Unfortunately, it's one of the those that got scrambled up during one of the forum upgrades. If anyone really wants to go back through it, there are links to the pieces I could find below, but if you bother to read it, note that some of the posts are out of sequence. To be fair to Gina, it does appear that in late 2003/early 2004 she did send a package and when it didn't arrive tried to get some satisfaction from the postal service; but that was too little too late after the previous 2 years of excuses, broken promises, and unanswered emails. https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1411043/m/898109521 https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1411043/m/695102311 https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1411043/m/895106831 https://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1411043/m/228102231

We ordered some FN from GS and they seemed to arrive in a more or less timely manner, and what I ordered. Mail services vary greatly in quality of service. For example, My daughter sent us a computer on 30Jan07 from TX to St. Thomas; still not here as of 24Mar07

Cannon, Sorry I asked. You got the wrong bullets, sold them yourself and, and still no satisfaction on the original order, going on six years now? I see that I was there in some of the old threads and do recall your tale of woe. And it seems GSC made an effort to rectify this, but it is just too convoluted for me to fully understand from here. Seems most are satisfied, and GSC has come through some tough times, and is still battling the black holes. I have hopes that commerce between the RSA and USA is still possible. I plan to keep up the struggle for good things. But there seems to be black holes in the USA and RSA Postal services. Maybe one that knows your name? Hopefully RNS will be up and running with GSC product to distribute within the USA.

RNS, Your story at the 550 Magnum Home Page is inspiring. Great work! http://hometown.aol.com/goldcoins1/myhomepage/index.html I hope to get my .395 Tatanka and Gerard's .395 GSC included in your wildcat listing one of these days. There should be a "398 Lapua Magnum" by then too, and prof242 can get his .395 Ruger included. The .375, .423, and .458 neckings of the .338 Lapua Magnum, and the .510 necking of the 470 Mbogo (500 Mbogo), are just not original enough to stand as an entry by themselves, excellent wildcats though they are. They can be "me-too" additions to a .395 page one day, I hope. RIPoff Arms, Inc. is just a joke, a not-ready-for-prime-time player. I'll have to change the name of my brood of kittens to something more "honest" sounding eventually. You have a massive amount of good stuff going on there. Thanks.
