I don't know about the .600 Overkill, but my .577 VSRE (750 gr. bullet at 2050 fps.) just exerted an irresistible push, which forced me to step back two paces every time I fired it. I abandoned it as a hunting rifle because there are situations where two steps backward aren't possible and sprawling on one's back is not a good position from which to face an enraged animal. My .500 Jeffrey is on a BRNO 602 action and quite pleasant to shoot. | |||

Some good looking rifles!
