Lower is a .500 Jeffery

I don't know about the .600 Overkill, but my .577 VSRE (750 gr. bullet at 2050 fps.) just exerted an irresistible push, which forced me to step back two paces every time I fired it. I abandoned it as a hunting rifle because there are situations where two steps backward aren't possible and sprawling on one's back is not a good position from which to face an enraged animal.

My .500 Jeffrey is on a BRNO 602 action and quite pleasant to shoot.

Sorry, it has ended up with buckstix along with my .500 SRE. my .416 MRE and my .375 LRE, but I'm sure he'll be glad to let you shoot it, should you happen up his way.

Some good looking rifles! All that is missing is a hitch and wheels so it can be towed behind a M16 halftrack along with the other howitzers to the firing line for over the hill bombardment.
