The warning says that there is no record of this rifle in Harman & Weiss books!

Anyone with a sharp knowledgeable eye please comment on the quality of work.

H&W in their Californian period!

Scope blocks fitted post engraving.

Seems like an ok rifle for the estimate.

I do not claim to be any kind of expert
but will comment anyway. This is the internet.

An estimate of 700 to 900 pounds might be reasonable for this shooter if the buyer's sensibilities allow it.
9.3x64mm is an interesting, useful chambering and most likely
the rifling is in OK condition.
A faked Hartmann & Weiss?
Bespoke for an orangutan?
Poor match on the wood butt extension.
The leather-covered pad clashes with the white-line spacers
on the grip cap and forend tip which are a bit loud even with no white lines.
The military-style floorplate release could be improved upon for a sporter.
And I sure hate it when the front sight, blade on ramp is not shown in any of the photos.
Why are they hiding that?

Looks like the spawn of an aging Husky that got drunk one night and was knocked up by a Weatherby.......
£700 plus the house commission would be about $1080 USD.....not for me.

I agree with Jeffee, the Monte Carlo was the first thing that caught my eye, having never seen one on a H&W, but not saying, just that it.s unusual...I dont' know, and the folks that own it don't care what I think.. rotflmo
