I installed laminated bamboo flooring in my bedroom. It is tongue and groove, 1/2 inch thick. This stuff is tough! I wondered if you could laminate it thick enough, would it work for a gunstock. I guess it will! | |||

Amazing stuff. I lived for 35 years in regions that used bamboo for almost anything - even cooking utensils! I even own a tribal bow & arrow set where everything including the bow string is made from bamboo. This gun stock looks very interesting. I wonder how they prevent any slivers from sticking you as it wares down. "When the wind stops....start rowing. When the wind starts, get the sail up quick." | |||

I don't think I like the look of Bamboo on a rifle stock but that's just me. They make a really nice myrtle stick. 3rd rifle down. http://www.accurateinnovations.com/RIFLE_GALLERY.HTML I like the company, they made me a really nice pecan stock. They had one available and sent me a pic of the blank. It was really interesting. The rifle turned out great IMO. Pic below. If you decide to do it, they are a good company that makes great stocks.    | |||
