What recognizable cartridges will fit the Montana Professional Hunter (PH) action without significant gunsmithing ?

The magazine box is listed as 4.025 inches.

The three bolt faces offered are 0.534", 0.604", and the 0.648".

For example, will the 585 Nyati ?

To be on the safe side, I would ask them first and work up from there. I have two coming, however. One will be another 505 Gibbs in the stable and the other will be 550 Gibbs hammer to compliment the 550 Magnum.

700DA, 600OK, 550 gibbs, 550magnum, 500 mbogo/KX, 470 Mbogo...

if I ever get one, don't know if it is going to be a 700 or 470..

I have 6 that I've been waiting for since the very early going. One will certainly be the 700 DA.

To answer the Hammer's question any large 3-3.6" case with a base diameter of .660 or less (you could really get by with a .680 dia base but some will say no way) So just about any case under the BMG.

I guess you could also do a 22 hornet if you really wanted to.

with 577 BME (case is 3" with 650 Woodleigh)

with 550 Gibbs fired case from that morning
