| As far as scope goes I was thinking about either a 1.5-5 or 1.75-6 Leupold, or maybe a VXII 2-7x33 or 1-4x20. The 2-7 is a really hard scope to beat for versatility. |

| I have a couple scouts and realy like the 2.5 leupold scout scope. I was really thinking about doing up that p17 just like yours but already have a pop up peep setup on this winchester and was going to go with standard style scope. |

| When I called Leupold and asked about scopes for the Lott I thought he'd push me to the fixed power. But he sort of was pushing the 2.5-8 VariX3. Since I was happy to get a little more magnification, that's what I went with.
So far, about 80 rounds downrange and no problems.
