Guys, let's have some fun. How about a list of rifles you would like to have or like to see from the manufacturers?

For me, my next rifle will probably be a new Blaser R93 Luxus seimi-weight with buffalo-kudu sideplates in 9,3X62. The rifle I would love to see is a synthetic Benelli R1 in that same caliber.

.404(.423) Ruger Alaskan with a 23" or 24" barrel in a Hogue stock with the full length bedding block.

Model 70 brought back with .300 H&H as a standard chambering.

CZ-USA start importing the 550 in 7X57 again.

Anything in the old classic calibers; like TreeFarmer mentioned about the Model 70 in .300 H&H. Also, a Ruger #1 in a few more Nitro Express calibers.

Well since you asked about a wish list...

The 8x60s that a friend is finally able to build.
The 8x68s that I'd like to build in a couple years.
The 375 H&H and 458 Lott I'm planning on building on the Enfield actions I am compiling.
I'd like my FN49 off layaway.
And I'd like an M1 Garand.

More Ruger #1s in popular NE calibers; .375 fl .450#2, 470, 500 NE

These are awsome "Hog" guns as they can be easily scoped and are economical to own and shoot. thumb...

since there's an inherent, but nonobvious cost here..

how about ONE double rifle, in 450 NE#2, that weighs 9.5#, has regulation tuning easy, and has lefthanded triggers/stock available (for a cost, if you want) and costs 4,500 bucks, blued, no engraving other than caliber and SN, and quartersawn turkish walnut ($250 wood)..

In fact, how about offering that as a KIT and the owner finishes regulation, bluing, and wood finish...

no, we don't get any other choices .. hammerless, extractors, 8620 monoblocks and receivers, one size fits all, and just DEAL with it if you "really wanted it to be 470" or "i just couldn't unless it was a 475 WR"..

Oh, wait, Butch started in that vein and people demanded "better"... and his stuff is WAY better than 4500 bucks...

But, we need a 4,500$ double, a $12,500 AC, auto, 2 door, deisel truck, and $1.59 oil to burn in it!!

From Ruger...

No.1 rifles in 300 H&H, 9.3x74, 405 Winchester, and 450/400 with 28 inch barrels, English fore ends with ebony caps, premium fixed sights, and case colored receivers. Let's throw in a 22 rimfire version of the above just on principle.

Bisley Blackhawk 5-1/2 inch 480 five-shot with upgraded sights, steel ejector rod housing, ivory micarta grips, and case color receiver.

A round-butted Bisley Vaquero 45 Colt (spare 45 ACP cylinder), SP101, and Bearcat with titanium frames.

Otherwise, I'm good.

I'd like Weatherby to start making stocks designed by Dakota. And I'd like them to improove their quality conetrol of their rifles before they leave the factory.

And I would love to see them chamber their Lightweight MkV in the .400 Whelen with its original .458 shoulder. 400 grs, 2150 fps, 5+1!!

Actually, I want all American gun-manufactory's to chamber this round!

I would love to see a Savage 99F scaled down to take the 223 and 6x45 calibers..

I would like to see a well made 25-35 Win. in a Ruger no. 1 or in a M-94 Win. (the last ones were pretty grim IMO)

A M-70 in 9.3x62,

But most of all I would like to see a nice bolt action M-70 or Mauser in .404 Jefferys..
