That is nearly the exact rifle I am pondering on right now.
I'm not sure what it will end up going for but I'm sure it will be worth all of it.

The only thing I'm not real excited about on that rifle is the Redfield scope base and rings, if it were mine I'd have to think long and hard about which bases and rings would be more suitable for a rifle of this class and vintage. The scope is perfect as is the stock and rear sights, wish there were a better front sight picture.
I've been contemplating building such a rifle, a 1903 Spfld in 400 Whelen so this one is really catching my eye, I need to stop looking at it!

unthinkable that GH would build a wildcat rifle, after all, no big name maker woudl EVER make a rifle in a (then) new caliber, expecially a worthless wildcat

Nice barrel and wood. But the 1903 Springfield action and obviously replaced floorplate make it worth about $2K max in my book. Interesting caliber nevertheless. -Rob
