There seems to be a bit of interest in sub 40 AR cartridges and Jeffe is not among the ones interested.....that's fine and we understand but he's not the only one that can do this.

I'd be willing to spec and buy a reamer in .375 AR and have it used by those that want it and then have it ground to 9.3 AR and again used and then ground to .358 AR and eventually to .338 AR for those interested.

I'm not much on the idea of one reamer in .338 and separate neck reamers.....

If anyone is interested in a sub 40 cal AR make your wishes known here.

<grin> - if you change that to "not amoung those with enough TIME..." it's perfectly accurate

btw, the smaller rounds will require a new headspace gage, as it just doesn't work from 300 to 375!!

Sounds like a great Idea. I am in for a couple bucks, either way you want to run the project.

I sent you a PM, basicaly that I am willing to go ahead and finish the drawings and work with Manson to approve the reamer prints, to keep everything consistant.

Actualy, to be fair, I am interested, though I am fully aware that I can not commit to development of loads, building rifles, etc, on this part of the project. I think it's a great idea for this to be an AR project, as that's what the rounds are named after.

I actually have already done the design work on these, but didn't put them into an electronic format, as I knew I would not have the TIME TIME TIME TIME TIME to delivery against them, not a lack of interest

Jeffe.....my apologies for the inaccuracy.....

If you have drawings on autocad I can work from them.

That said there just don't seem to be folks flocking from all over to jump on this bandwagon. No problem there as there are very good alternatives to the shooters.....375 Dakota, .358 Norma, .338 Win Mag.....etc.

i think the 350 remmag ruger is done on the short action, 3.1 max oal... might not be...

would be cool if it would work..

ask ruger if that is on the 308 length or 300win length actions

The Ruger 350RemMag is on the short-action. The 35AR wont fit ... but the 35WSM (35Sambar) will Big Grin. I've got a Ruger 350RemMag and considered changing to 35WSM ... but its just about perfect as is in 350RemMag. My boat-paddle Ruger S/S 7mmRemMag really wants to be a 358Norma though. Must be something about 7mmRemMags ... they all want to be built into something else ... Razzer
Cheers...

It's a 2.9" mag, and I don't even want to bore it out to a 350 WSM/sambar as another 200 fps is of no interest to me in such a light rifle. I considered doing that before going to the range with the 350, then I shot it. 225's @ 2700 are plenty good in a 7# and change rig, I want 8#'s and change for 250's @ 2700, and if you're driving 250's close to 3000, you want a rig close to 10#'s.
