jeffeosso3" lott - brass is rumored to be made from unobtainium.
got with the lott ..
or, better still, an ackly chamber, marked lott, and use lott brass

gunbugWell put. I think you are correct a Lott would be much more practical. What about this ackley chamber? Thank's

kayakerDo you mean the 3" express (a 3" lott) or the African Express (a 2.6" shortened .404 case).
It seems like these two are confused sometimes by nomeclature.

jeffeossothe african express, a twin of the c=vincent short and my 458 AR, doesn't require a 602 action... would be a waste to do use that action for it, as they work in 3.4" STANDARD length actions
but, great rounds

jro45I own the CZ 550 American Safari 458 Lott. Thats a fine Rifle to shoot. My stock is Laminated. It doesn't kick bad at all 74 ft lbs
shooting the 500gr SP bullet at 2280 FPS
The 3" Express is what those in Africa need using Somchem powders to reach top end 458wm, medium 458 Lott performance we can acheive with our powders.

gunbugI see my post did not come out clearly. I have decided on a Lott to go along with my Whitworth .458WM because i can see it works for our cooler climate[only doing it cause the 602 action is so long. Dan
